Doug is not always entirely there in the morning before he gets out of bed; and sometimes this can have amusing results. A recent quote:
"That's 150 dollars! It's like finding a 150-dollar bill!"
This morning, I hit my snooze button a whole bunch of times since I was having trouble getting up. As I finally climbed out of bed, Doug said:
"You hit your snooze button so many times, if it had been launching torpedoes, we could have won World War II."
Hm... I could be wrong, but the last time I checked....

I'm relatively sure "Doug-san" would be decent in Germanic, Japanese and Italian situations....
Whether he is of that descent is a different story.
