All Good Things Must Come To An End...

... even Thanksgiving break. Back to school and work on Monday!

I had a great Thanksgiving. We played it chill--just the four of us: my mom and dad, and my brother and I. Nothing much was going on, so I spent most of Thanksgiving Actual Day (Thursday) writing papers so I'd have more time to just relax over the weekend. We had a terrific dinner (thanks Mom!), with all the usual stuff. But no Bulgarian sauerkraut turkey, since we didn't go over to the Pelevs' this year....

I got to spend some good quality time with the whole fam. My brother and I actually met up with Amy Grace (who is also from Redlands) on Friday to grab some breakfast/lunch at Denny's, and that was cool. I went with Mom and Dad to see the opening of "Scrooge!", the Christmas show at LifeHouse Theater, in which Mark plays about 6 different minor/chorus roles (he's in almost every scene), and he did awesomely, as usual. If you're in the Redlands area, or want to be, he's playing Fred Hollywell on Dec. 9th and 22nd. I'm going back on the 9th... so come with me.

All in all, I got some good work done on papers and conducting studies, but I got to sleep in a lot and rest a lot as well. So it was a good time to relax, refresh, and reload--and now I return to school, guns a-blazin', to go out in a blaze of glory in the last two weeks and finals. Watch out, CSUF--it's the Lone Composer!

*laughs and shakes head* It's called "brunch," AJ . . .

I'm happy you were able to recharge . . . sounds like it's been a busy year so far for both of us (but considerably more so for you). But hey, at least you aren't taking 24 units!
